虹は近付くと失われる。それはそこにあるのにそこにない。遠くからでないと見えないこともある。
虹について書かれた文章はバラバラに解体され、それぞれが補完し合うように２枚の板ガラスに印字されている。奥のガラスの文字は遠近法に逆らって少しだけ拡大してあるので、ある距離で文章は完全に重なる。ただ、完全に重なった状態の文字は、読むには小さすぎ、読もうとして近寄るとそれぞれの文字は虹が色を失うように崩れ去る。

A rainbow disappears when you get close enough. It is there, yet is not. There are things graspable only from a distance.
A text written about rainbows is broken down into fragments and printed onto two glass plates, complementing each other. The letters printed on the glass behind are slightly bigger to counter the law of perspective, so that from a certain distance the whole text looks completely united. However, in this united state, the letters are too small to read, and when you approach trying to read it, the text falls apart, just like a rainbow losing its colors.
