あらかじめ速度調整された2 つの楽曲を含む映像。 ひとつの映像を、通常・遅い・速いの 3 つの速度で再生することで、 調整前の楽曲が再生される。 ひとつの時間の中から3 つの時間を取り出す試み。
スーパーツイーター(超高音域用スピーカー)からは、速度を速めた楽曲が流れ、サブウーファー(超低音域用スピーカー)からは速度を遅めた楽曲が流れている。しかしそれらの楽曲は 速度を大きく変更されているので、もとの楽曲が何であったかがわからない。そのスピーカーのある風景をビデオで記録し、編集によって速度を変化させると、再びもとの楽曲の音程に復元される。しかし記録されていた映像は相対的に速度が変化してしまう。
A video containing two pieces of music in which the speed has been adjusted beforehand. The music before adjustment is reproduced by showing a single film at three different speeds, normal, slow and fast. This is an attempt to extract three kinds of times from a single time.
The super tweeter (loudspeaker device for ultra high frequencies) plays music in fast forward while the sub woofer (loudspeaker device for ultra low frequencies) plays music slowly. Their pitches are modified so much that you cannot find out the original any longer. The speaker set is videotaped with surrounding scenes. The music is recovered by speeding up or down the video, which, however, cannot help but modify the videotaped scenes relatively.
