色覚異常を発見するためのパターン（石原式色覚検査表）を用いた平面作品。
健常者にとって識別可能で、色覚異常者には識別不可能な検査表が一般的であるが、その中でも石原表4類表は、その関係が逆転した、色覚異常者のみが判別可能な図である。その既成のイメージを、制作者も含む大多数が「見えない」ことを前提とする絵画として使用した。見るということは、頼りなく心細いものを信用することによって成り立つ。
A two-dimensional work using a pattern of Ishihara Color Vision Test Plate for the color-vision deficiency test. It is common to use a test plate which is unidentifiable for a color-blind person but Ishihara Plate No. 19 is a reversed version and only a color-blind person is able to identify the picture. Using the existing image as a picture which majority of people including the artist myself cannot “see.” Seeing is the action to be realized by trusting something not reliable.
